Role: Make-A-Wish | Development Intern (2014)
The Make-A-Wish Foundation renews the strength and joy of children with life-threatening medical conditions. I cultivated philanthropic relationships with regional corporations and donors. During seven months, I obtained over $12,000 in grants and identified 450+ corporations to target for solicitation.
Role: District Office of Congressman John Yarmuth | Grants Intern (2012)
The District Office of Congressman Yarmuth supports constituents filing for immigration, housing, and student loan assistance. I drafted letters on behalf of the Congressman and performed daily administrative tasks like filing mail, planning events, and answering phones.
