I graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Political Science in 2016. Since then, I’ve worked as a community manager, healthcare claims auditor, and paralegal.

Role: Gooroo | Community Manager & Copywriter (2016-2017)

I joined a tutoring startup to streamline its community outreach. I standardized the tutor hiring process; because the company matched tutors and students who met in public venues around the city, I believed it was important to implement background checks and verify tutor qualifications. I also wrote public-facing copy and responded to customer service inquiries.

Role: The Rawlings Group | Healthcare Claims Auditor (2018)

State laws determine how insurance companies work together to cover medical costs when any patient has more than one health insurance policy. When claims are incorrectly paid, the patient is often saddled with inappropriate out-of-pocket costs. I contacted healthcare providers, employers, and cardholding members to correct claim payments.

Role: Legal Assistant | Hance & Srinivasan, PLLC (2018-2019)

I worked in a medical malpractice law firm conducting new client interviews, preparing client specials, managing partner calendars, and maintaining case folders with contracts, correspondence, depositions, expenses, medical records and billings, and pleadings.

Role: Paralegal | Kentucky ElderLaw, PLLC (2021-2022)

I worked in an Estate Planning firm drafting legal documents like Powers of Attorney, Health Care Surrogates, Living Wills, and Wills. I fielded correspondence for a partner and associate.

Role: Paralegal | Thomas Law Offices, PLLC (2022-2023)

I worked in a personal injury firm specializing in medical malpractice, products liability, sexual assault, and nursing home abuse and neglect. I assisted attorneys during pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement. I drafted and e-filed pleadings like Notices to Take Depositions, Notices of Service, Interrogatories, Requests for Production, Requests for Admissions, Notices of Appearance, and Notices of Settlement.
